At the '2023 Innopolis Innovative Company Investment Attraction Competition', THOTH and IVWorks from Daedeok Innopolis were selected as the companies most interested in investing.
The Ministry of Science and ICT and the Korea Innovation Foundation announced that the results came from the competition held at the Daejeon Convention Center (DCC) in Yuseong-gu, Daejeon from the 19th to the 22nd. THOTH is a completely unmanned automation solution company for the diagnosis and dismantling process of waste batteries in electric vehicles. IVWorks is a material production company that deposits certain single crystal layers on semiconductor wafers to allow current to flow.
EA PHOS in Ansan Innotown and Aetech in Incheon Innotown held the second place, Hudson AI in Daegu Innopolis and RD Solution in Jeonbuk Innopolis held the third place.
Cosolus in Jeonbuk Innopolis and Aetech in Incheon Innotown were selected as the most impressive announcing companies.
Kang Byung-sam, president of Korea Innovation Foundation, said, “This competition introduced many unique and impressive deep tech companies such as battery recycling and semiconductor wafers," adding, "We will support attracting investment to companies that make it to the finals."
